Serves Up Old-Fashioned Cookout Celebration
On July 2, the Stars and Stripes Celebration will feature food and entertainment for the family

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – June 8, 2011 –The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel is serving up an old-fashioned cookout celebration during Fourth of July weekend featuring an all-you-can eat barbeque, live music and carnival games with prizes. Open to the public, the event takes place July 2 from 3 - 8pm at the Orlando hotel and one admission ticket per person will cover all food and entertainment.

Guests will enjoy a menu featuring a variety of all-American classics such as burgers, baked beans and hot dogs as well as barbeque chicken and pulled pork. Other offerings include coleslaw, fresh watermelon slices, potato salad, cornbread and the not-to-be-missed super mac ‘n cheese station. Classic desserts will include mini apple pies with vanilla ice cream, cherry pie and snow cones. Along with the barbeque fare, a cash bar will offer wine, beer and specialty cocktails.

Entertainment will be offered throughout the day, including a live band and free carnival games such as Skee Ball, Frog Hop and Three in a Row. Kids and adults alike can enjoy face painting, have their images drawn up by a talented caricaturist or receive a temporary airbrush tattoo. A pie-eating contest and water balloon toss will offer competitive guests a chance to win some great carnival prizes.
