CHRIS KANE APPOINTED DIRECTOR OF LEISURE SALES
AT THE WALT DISNEY WORLD SWAN AND DOLPHIN HOTEL
Lake Buena Vista, Fla. – April 1, 2011 – The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel has named Chris Kane director of leisure sales at this Disney resort hotel.
In his new role, Kane will be responsible for wholesale and consumer leisure travel accounts for the United States and Canada. Kane previously worked for the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel from 1998 to 2001 as a travel industry sales manager.
Kane’s background also includes sales positions with Starwood Vacation Ownership and Walt Disney Parks & Resorts. As the national resort sales manager for Starwood Vacation Ownership, he was responsible for developing opportunities for rental business for 12 resorts. At Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, he served as senior sales manager for hotel relations as well as senior travel industry account manager.
He joins the hotel’s travel industry sales team, comprised of Livia Cohen, director of leisure sales for Latin America, under the leadership of Ravin Berera, area managing director, travel industry sales.
Kane has worked in travel sales since 1992 and is a graduate of the University of Florida.
